Dora Boothby defeated Agatha Morton 6-4, 4-6, 8-6 in the All Comers' Final, and then defeated the reigning champion Charlotte Sterry by a walkover in the Challenge Round to win the Ladies' Singles at the 1909 Wimbledon Championships.[1][2]
